Yield: Recipe makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
1 - 6 ounce Cappellos Almond Flour Pizza Crust (or preferred store-bought crust)
4 ounces cooked bacon, crumbled
4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
3 figs, thin sliced
1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup, divided
1 tsp coconut oil, melted
1 tsp ground cinnamon, divided
½ tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp hot pepper flakes
½ tsp dried thyme leaves
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425.
Arrange the bacon on a baking sheet and cook 10-13 minutes or until desired crispness is reached.
While the bacon is cooking, arrange the pizza crust on another baking tray lined with parchment paper, and set aside. Melt the oil, and mix with the ½ of the maple syrup. Brush this over the top of the naked pizza crust.
Sprinkle the crust evenly with ½ teaspoon of the ground cinamon, hot pepper flakes, and dried thyme leaves. Thinly slice the figs, and arrange them over the pizza.
By now, the bacon should be fully cooked. Set onto a paper towel and allow to cool for a few minutes, then crumble onto the pizza. Add your crumbled goat cheese.
Bake at 425 for 10-15 minutes on until desired crust crispness is reached.
Remove from oven, drizzle with 1 tablespoon maple syrup. Slice, and serve.
