Description: When I worked for Starbucks, I used to enjoy having pumpkin spice syrup in iced coffee during the fall season. This pumpkin spiced iced French press is my homemade take on one of my favorite fall drinks!

Yield: Recipe makes 1 coffee drink.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 tablespoons Pumpkin Spice Syrup (according to sweetness preference)

  • 8 ounce chilled French Press Coffee (or 8 ounce brewed using preferred method, then chilled)

  • 1 ounce Half and Half (or preferred milk or cream)

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Pinch fresh grated nutmeg

Directions:

Add ice to a 16 ounce highball glass.

Pour the chilled french press coffee into the glass, leaving space at the top for the milk mixture.

In a small dish, vigorously whisk the pumpkin syrup, half and half, and cinnamon to combine.

Slowly drizzle the pumpkin flavored half and half mixture on top. This will create a swirl effect as the milk slowly mixes with the coffee.

Add the nutmeg on top. Serve and enjoy!
