Mango Habanero Chicken Wings

Description: These wings are very easy to make, and the mango habanero sauce is the perfect sweet-heat flavor combination that are perfect for your next summertime gathering!

Yield: Serves 3-4

Ingredients:

Wings:

  • 1 1/2 – 2 pounds chicken wings, separated

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon fine Himalayan sea salt

  • 1 Tablespoon Refined Avocado Oil

  • Mango Habanero Pepper Sauce, to flavor wings

  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced

Optional Accompaniment:

  • Carrot Sticks

  • Celery Sticks

  • Ranch Dressing/ Blue Cheese Dressing, for dipping

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Pat the chicken wings dry using a paper towel, then toss in the olive oil to coat. Season them evenly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place wings on the baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway for even cooking.

During the last 20 minutes of cooking, remove the wings from the oven to sauce them. Use tongs to add the wings to a big mixing bowl, then pour your sauce over the wings and toss to coat.

Return the wings to the baking sheet and continue cooking until they are done (internal temp 165°F), remove them from the oven.

When there is about 3-4 minutes left of cooking, I like to turn the temperature up to broil to caramelize the sauce a bit. You will want to closely monitor this step so the sauce doesn't burn.

Remove wings from oven and arrange on a serving platter. Garnish wings with minced parsley. Serve with carrot sticks, celery sticks and ranch dressing. Enjoy!
