Description: This is my go-to recipe for the classic guacamole, made with avocados, chilis, tomatoes, onions, and other flavorings. This dip is a favorite among summer-focused dips for any kind of chips. Try it and see!

Yield: Recipe serves 2-4

Ingredients:

  • 2 avocado, mashed

  • ¼ red onion, minced,

  • 1-2 green chilis, chopped

  • 1 medium tomato, diced

  • 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped

  • 1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon lime juice (can also use lemon juice)

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced or grated

  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • ¼ teaspoon coriander

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

  • ½ teaspoon fine Himalayan sea salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

Instructions:

Add the avocado and lime juice to a mixing bowl. Using a fork, mash the avocado and stir incorporate the lime juice. Then add the red onion, garlic, cilantro, and all spices to the mix and combine. Mix in the olive oil, then gently fold in the tomatoes. Serve with Homemade Tortilla Chips.
