Yield: Recipe makes 10-12 wings

Ingredients:

  • 10 - 12 Party Wings (can also use 5-6 whole chicken wings)

  • 1 teaspoon powdered sage

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt (or to taste)

  • 2 cloves garlic, grated

  • 1 teaspoon avocado oil

  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • Garnish (Optional): Sage leaves / parsley leaves

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 F. Combine seasonings in a shallow dish and set aside.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange wings in one layer on the parchment paper lined baking sheet. Combine the spices in a shallow dish and set aside.

Coat the wings with the avocado oil or use avocado oil cooking spray.

Generously season both sides of each wing with the spice mixture and allow to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Cook wings at 400 F for 35-40 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160 degrees.

When the wings are just about done, melt the butter and add to a shallow dish. Stir in the olive oil and grated garlic and set aside.

Add the cooked wings to a big mixing bowl. Add the butter and garlic mixture, and toss the wings in the mixture. Plate onto a serving dish and garnish with fresh sage and parsley. Serve!
