Description: This classic summer drink staple, essentially a Moscow mule made with rum instead of vodka, has been a favorite cocktail of mine for quite a long time!

Yield: Makes 1 cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces White rum

  • 2 teaspoons simple syrup

  • ½ of a lime, juiced

  • Ginger Beer

  • Couple dashes of Angostura aromatic bitters

  • Garnish: Lime wedge and/or mint leaves

Directions:

Add rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and bitters to a copper mug with and stir with a bar spoon. Fill with ice, leaving space at the top for ginger beer. Top with Ginger Beer. Garnish with lime wedge and/or mint leaves. Enjoy!
