Description: This “adult” version of a classic chamomile tea latte made with cream liqueur is one of my favorite ways to enjoy a warm chamomile tea on a cold, winter day.

Yield: Recipe makes 1 drink

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag Chamomile Tea

  • 4 ounces hot water, for brewing tea

  • 4 ounces Coconut Milk

  • 2 ounces Coconut Cream Liqueur

  • 2 ounces RumChata Liqueur

  • Pinch of Cinnamon

  • Pinch of Nutmeg

Directions:

In a small pot, bring the water and coconut milk to a boil. While the water is coming up to boil, prep your mug.

When the liquid comes to boil, remove from heat and let sit 15 or so seconds just to let it cool down a touch. Add the tea bag to the water in the pot, and cover with a lid. Brew according to the package directions.

Once the tea has brewed, use a spoon to press the bag against the side of the pot to release all of the tea flavor.

Remove the tea bag from the pot, then add your liqueurs to the same pot and gently warm on medium-low heat for a few minutes to heat up a bit more. Do not let it boil as that will start cooking out the alcohol.

Once the liqueurs have warmed through, transfer the mixture into the mug. Top with cinnamon and nutmeg. Enjoy!
